YRC Reimer Driver Larry Radons Places 4th in Straight Truck Category at 2011 Canadian National Professional Truck Driving Championships
Overland Park, Kan., October 3, 2011 - YRC Reimer, a subsidiary of YRC Worldwide Inc. (NASDAQ: YRCW), announced today that Larry Radons placed 4th in the Straight Truck Category in the Canadian National Professional Truck Driving Championships held September 9 - 11th in Calgary, Alberta.
Mr. Radons, a city driver from Regina, Saskatchewan, placed second in last year's competition. He has been with Reimer since 1975 and has competed at nationals since 1978. Mr. Radons was named National Grand Champion three times and has won National Champion in his class five times. He also received the Volvo Driver of the Year Award for Saskatchewan in 2003.

In total there were 34 drivers participating in the competition. Each participant completed a written test, a practical truck inspection, and the driving course competition consisting of seven obstacles.
In order to be eligible to compete, a driver must be accident-free for one year, be legally licensed to operate the class of vehicle for the event in which he/she is competing and must compete in the jurisdiction in which their license was issued.
