YRC Glen Moore Celebrates 25 Years of Growth
OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -YRC Worldwide Inc. (Nasdaq: YRCW) congratulates its truckload service provider, YRC Glen Moore, for 25 years of quality service. Since its incorporation on May 27, 1986, YRC Glen Moore has moved more than 41 billion pounds of goods across over one billion miles of roadway during approximately 1.7 million trips throughout the United States.
YRC Glen Moore began operations in Glen Moore, Pa., hauling heavy equipment to job sites on flatbed equipment. Dry van equipment was added to the fleet for transporting general merchandise on contracted business. Today, YRC Glen Moore is one of the country's leaders in dry freight truckload van shipping, providing service to retailers, manufacturers and the government.
