Holland Recognized for 2010 Performance Excellence
OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - February. 3, 2011 - Holland, a subsidiary of YRC Worldwide Inc. (Nasdaq: YRCW), announced today that it achieved the highest level of performance excellence (Gold) on the Matco Tools 2010 carrier scorecard. Matco Tools, a subsidiary of the Fortune 500 Danaher Corporation, manufactures and distributes quality professional automotive equipment, tools and toolboxes.
To determine the scorecard rating, Matco measures 12 different attributes which they consider important for their transportation providers. Seven rate supplier service levels on qualities such as on-time pickups and deliveries, claims, and ease of doing business. The remaining five attributes consider supplier capabilities, such as service coverage and special service "extras."
