Holland Selected as 2009 Regional Carrier of the Year by Echo Global Logistics
OVERLAND PARK, Kan., May 14, 2010 - Holland, a subsidiary of YRC Worldwide Inc. (Nasdaq: YRCW) has been named 2009 Regional Carrier of the Year by Echo Global Logistics, a leading provider of technology enabled transportation and supply chain management services.
Using automated data collection and metrics tracking via its own proprietary, web-based transportation management platform, Echo Global Logistics ranked carriers based on five key criteria: service quality, on-time performance, billing and invoice accuracy, customer service, and damage-free deliveries. Holland took top honors and accepted the award April 29 in Chicago.
