YRC Worldwide Welcomed the China Road Transport Association to Carlisle, PA Facility on May 14th
OVERLAND PARK, Kan., May 17, 2010 - YRC Worldwide Inc. (Nasdaq: YRCW), one of the largest transportation service providers in the world, welcomed the China Road Transport Association (CRTA) to the YRC facility located in Carlisle, PA on May 14th. The CRTA is the national trade group representing trucking in China.

In this visit, YRC Worldwide along with the ATA discussed twin trailer operations, how the U.S. trucking industry attracts and trains drivers, and how aerodynamics are helping truck fuel efficiency. There were also demonstrations of twin trailer maneuverability, hooking & unhooking trailers, backing into a dock, and the technology used to dispatch trucks and track customer shipments.
