Exact Express Added to MyYellow Bill of Lading
OVERLAND PARK, Kan., Jan. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Yellow Transportation, a subsidiary of global transportation leader Yellow Roadway Corporation (Nasdaq: YELL), today announced the addition of complete online Bill of Lading (BOL) capabilities for Exact Express shipments.Exact Express is an expedited and time-definite air and ground delivery service offered by Yellow Transportation to get shipments to their destination exactly when the customer wants it to be there. Exact Express is backed by a 100-percent, customer-satisfaction guarantee.
When customers use online BOL for Exact Express, the shipment will automatically be scheduled for pickup, a printed BOL with Exact Express option identified will be created, and a shipping label and an electronic bill of lading are generated.

The new Exact Express BOL enhancements make the customer experience smoother and more intuitive. The online BOL system automatically prompts customers for package size or class and explains maximum constraints on Exact Express dimensions. The system also allows for delivery date information entry, but has a default option if the customer leaves it blank.
The BOL form also links to a service calculator so customers can determine the fastest service. MyYellow BOL also includes forwarding labels and printed BOL to consignee or third party, sends advance-shipping notice to chosen email addresses and creates a database to store consignee and product information.
