U.S. Department of Commerce Honors Global Unit of Yellow CorporationOVERLAND PARK, Kan., Aug 21, 2002 -- Yellow Global, the international transportation service provider of Yellow Corporation (Nasdaq: YELL), has more than doubled the number of export shipments it has managed in the past three years -- and that success is being recognized by the U.S. Department of Commerce.
The Commerce Department has named Yellow Global as a recipient of the President's "E" Award for excellence in export services. Established under President John F. Kennedy, the award is the nation's highest honor for American exporting firms and service organizations.
