On May 1, 2018, the Board of Directors (the Board) of YRC Worldwide Inc. (the Company) approved the formation of two new special committees of the Board.
Created to provide advice and guidance to the Board and management in connection with anticipated labor negotiations with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT) prior to the natural expiration of the current labor agreement on March 31, 2019.
Business Strategy Committee
Created to facilitate a coordinated and comprehensive analysis of the economic environment in the industry and provide the Board and management with advice and guidance on specific strategic initiatives across all operating segments in order to maximize operational flexibility in responding to competitive and other market-related influences.
