YRC Reimer Driver Harvey Gording Named Saskatchewan Trucking Association Driver of the Year
REGINA, Sask. - Oct. 21, 2010 - YRC Reimer, a subsidiary of YRC Worldwide (Nasdaq: YRCWD) is proud to announce that professional driver Harvey Gording was named Driver of the Year by the Saskatchewan Trucking Association (STA) in a ceremony held on Oct. 16.

Gording is a city driver at the YRC Reimer service center in Regina, Saskatchewan. He has competed in the Provincial Professional Truck Driving Championships for the past 20 years, achieving Canada's National Grand Champion on three occasions. In 1994, Gording was awarded Driver of the Month by the Saskatchewan Safety Council, then in 2000 he was voted Driver of the Year in Saskatchewan by the group. The STA in 2005 voted him Driver of the Year. Gording has not had a preventable vehicle accident for 30 years - the equivalent of driving over 2 million miles. Gording has also been a member of the local YRC Reimer Regina Safety Committee for the past several years.
