Yellow Announces Third Quarter Earnings Preview
OVERLAND PARK, Kan., Sept. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- In response to recent investor inquiries, Yellow Corporation (Nasdaq: YELL) announced today that the company expects earnings for the third quarter ending September 30, 2000, to meet or exceed the current analyst consensus of $0.71 per share (IBES). As a basis of comparison, the company reported EPS of $0.64 for the third quarter of 1999.
The company will release actual third quarter results on the morning of October 19, 2000. A conference call will be held at 2:00 p.m. (EDT), 1:00 p.m. (CDT) on that same day.
